XXXIII Meeting
Spanish Group on Fracture and Structural Integrity
9 – 11th March 2016

XXXIII Meeting Spanish Group
on Fracture and Structural Integrity

The Spanish Group on Fracture and Structural Integrity Annual Meeting has been held since 1984. Since the beginning, it has been a forum for researches and professionals interested in the integrity of materials and structures, providing an opportunity to present developments and exchange ideas.

The meeting is distinctly multidisciplinary in nature, welcoming work from various fields (from nanotechnology to civil engineering) in which the in-service behavior and fracture of materials play a prominent role.

Ceit and Tecnun, in collaboration with the Spanish Group on Fracture and Structural Integrity, are organizing the 33rd annual meeting of the Spanish Group on Fracture and Structural Integrity in San Sebastián. The event will coincide with the city´s celebration as the 2016 European Capital of Culture. The meeting will take place at the NH COLLECTION ARANZAZU from March 9 to 11, 2016.

Parallel to the regular sessions, there will be a series of specific sessions dedicated to small scale testing and Spanish Thematic Network for Notch Fracture (Red REFE). Also, taking advantage of the industrial environment in which the meeting will take place, there will be sessions specifically dedicated to addressing problems of structural integrity in the industry.
